I was pleasantly surprised to see Jabber client update my status when in a WebEx session. "In a meeting" or "Presenting" were two that I saw.
The WebEx session was a simple join, we don't have a login or site or anything. Not sure how the hooks are done. Although surprised (again) to see that Spark status is not updated, especially cause it's a full blown client and Cisco's client to boot. Are there any other desktop activities that update the Jabber status? I took a look here, but didn't find much. http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/11_5/CJAB_BK_C9858CC7_00_cisco-jabber-features-guide.html It mentions WebEx integration, but again, I was just responding to an invite, not running the WebEx session. --- Lelio Fulgenzi, B.A. Senior Analyst, Network Infrastructure Computing and Communications Services (CCS) University of Guelph 519‐824‐4120 Ext 56354 [email protected] www.uoguelph.ca/ccs Room 037, Animal Science and Nutrition Building Guelph, Ontario, N1G 2W1
