I have a 3640 as dial access server as backup,using unnumber ip. Usually the branch 3620 connect to the 7500 through DDN, when the DDN down, 3620 dial to 3640.The routing protocol is eigrp.When use DDN, 7500 can learn the 3620 route.But when use dial,the problem occur. 3640 cannot learn the ip route of 3620. When i show ip eigrp interface, both the dial interfaces are included,but cannot establish neighbor. when i show ip eigrp traffic in 3620, there are no hello packet sent/received. What is the problem?
