Can I use Translational bridging to Translate between HDLC & Ethernet. I want to bridge between a serial and ethernet interface on my 2600 series router. All I see is IRB and CRB, will either of these do the job? I could route, but my boss doesn't want the extra hop. Time sensitive data will be crossing, and there are already enough hops. Also does anyone know if NAT uses Process switching, Fast switching or what by default? I'm inclined to say Process, but I'm not sure?
