IOS IP version 6 support is currently under development. However in response
to customer interest, Cisco's Beta release of IPv6 has been made generally
available and offered to allow customer to gain experience with IPv6. It is
not intended for production deployment at this time and does not represent
officially supported IOS functionality - customer issues should be sent
directly to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The current IOS implementation is based on IOS 12.1 and includes support for
the following functionality"
* RIPv6 * BGP4+ for IPv6
* IPv6 Static Routes * EUI-64 Addressing
* Traffic Filtering * IPv4 <---> IPv6 Address Translation
* Automatic and Static Tunnels * Neighbour Discovery
* IPv6 over Ethernet, FDDI, Cisco HDLC and ATM PVCs. * Dual Stack support
for Telnet, DNS and TFTP.

1. i want to know whether cisco 2610 router supports ip version 6 & also

4. does cisco 2610 supports encryption :
these are the commands for encryption:

router-confg# crypto key exchange dss passive 1880
5 when we give the bgp command as router bgp , the error message rcd
is unknown protocol.
what is the proper procedure to configure bgp protocol?
