Some of whom can't spell "you're!" Sorry, just couldn't resist. :-) My guess on the actual problem is that the telco forgot to remove the remote loopback. I've seen than happen with the result being similar symptoms. I agree with the orignal poster that it seems suspicious that a pair of routers that worked perfectly before developed a fault at exactly the same time as the leased line did. I bet the routers are fine and the telco didn't clean up after themselves correctly. But it is just a guess... My only other advice is to see the message from Daniel Cotts. What a great reply. He should write a book! :-) Priscilla > > > > > > > either of resons for this can be if anyone change a clockrate > on modems > > оr another problem can be bad configurаtion of > encapsulation > > on interface, but this is too simple to be confused > > so check the clockrate on modems. > -- > David Madland > CCIE# 2016 > Sr. Network Engineer > Qwest Communications > 612-664-3367 > > "Government can do something for the people only in proportion > as it > can do something to the people." -- Thomas Jefferson > > Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7&i=69637&t=69573 -------------------------------------------------- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
