Sorry about that I had pasted some information in the e-mail which did not
show up.I am a nubie and had a lot of problems with subnetting.I created a
little chart that helped me pass my CCNA.The simple thing to do is to write
down before the exam on a blank sheet of paper 8 squares numbered 1 2 4 8 16
32 64 128 underneath make the same number of squares and leave blank on top
make the same number of squares and fill in the numbers starting from the
left at 128:
128|192|224|240|248|252|254|255|
128| 64 |32 | 16 | 8 | 4 | 2 | 1 |
| | | | | | | |
This will help you in your conversions. I will try to attach my little chart
to the e-mail.If you do not get it e-mail me and I will forward it
individually.
