I suspect that the N+ holds just about as much water as the A+...  It shows 
that you have an initial understanding of the field consistent with someone 
who has 0-6 months experience in networking (or PC break/fix for the A+).

To be honest with you, the only case where this would be interesting to me 
is if I am looking for a diamond in the rough to bring up to speed from 
'This is a football'.  That means I might give an interview, but if I do I 
am really looking for a can-do, will-do attitude with aptitude and the 
ability to learn like crazy.

Now, if you have this certification, congratulations!  It is a great first 
step.  Just remember to keep working, and that there is a lot of other 
things you need to do to ultimately establish yourself in the same league as 
the heavy-hitter types.
