Under the loopback interface, you may issue the command ip ospf network
point-to-point

Cisco's implementation by default advertises loopbacks as host routes
( /32 )

By implementing the network type point-to-point, you cause the IOS to
advertise a loopback as a full network, as defined by the subnet mask you
use.

Seems to me we had a discussion of this a few weeks ago. If memory serves,
it was as part of a discussion about optimum ways to migrate from EIGRP to
OSPF

Subject: OSPF question

Hello everybody

I need some help with the following:

Given the following

loopback 0
ip address 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0

router ospf 1
network 10.0.0.0 0.0.0.255 area 0

sh ip route 10.10.10.1
known via connected loopback 0
distributed via ospf 1
 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.255

what I want is to Advertise the loopback interface as class C and not host
specific route.

distributed via ospf 1
 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0

How do I do that?
