Besides the ip classless and no auto summary information, you need to
check on a few other things.

If you are installing into existing Ripv2 network, are they using
authentication (if so, get passwords from them),

Are you talking rip to any other machines?>

By default Cisco interfaces talk rip v1 but listen to rip v1 and v2.
If Rip v2 is specified in the the router rip setup, then it talks and
listens only to ripv2. You have to know what version your neighbors
need to hear and will speak. This behavior is changable on a per
interface basis also.
