If your router is not booting, send a <break> signal from the console port while it's
attempting to boot and this will take you to ROMMON mode. From there you can attempt
to load the IOS onto it again. Make sure you really have the correct IOS. I did
something similar, except in reverse: I tried to load an older image for the 2610
onto a 2620, which did NOT work!

I can't remember all of the commands, but you can find them on CCO somewhere. They
are something similar to the following example:

1>IP_ADDRESS=10.1.1.1 (router ethernet port)
2>SUBNET_MASK=255.255.255.0 (or whatever)
3>DEFAULT_GATEWAY=10.1.1.2 (self explanatory)
4>TFTP_SERVER=10.5.12.18
5>tftpdnld

Make sure to check CCO to verify those, I'm doing it from memory and we all know how
bad that is. <g>
IIRC, it will reboot when the image is finished downloading. If it doesn't, I believe
the command is 'reset'.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
