I have 6MB Flash pcmica card that I'm using on a Cisco 1005 that looks to be
defective but I'm not ready to give up just yet. The router will not
initialize the card will get stuck in a loop doing so. One of the messages
it gives is...
device cannot be loaded, no magic number found
I've erased the IOS image and copied a known IOS image repeatedly and it
still would not load the IOS. There is a format command supported in the RSP
routers but the Cisco 1005 don't seem to support the format command. Any
suggestions?
