Yes, bridge-group are equivalent to vlans and bridge-group protocol ieee refers to the
spannin tree version in used it could be dec or something else.
Between these 2 switches Are you using trunking (dot1q) or it is just 1 vlan in the
whole network?. If you are using trunking, check that the native vlan has been
properly configured.
