Do a "show controller" and verify that you do have DTE end at the AGS. you
could aslo check the jumpers to make sure that it wasn't set to DCE before
you got it...
Do you have a clock rate set? What type of interface is in your AGS? Is it
able to support the clockrate that you have set? V.35 interfaces can support
the higher clock rates, but the older RS-232 interfaces cannot. Try a very
low clock rate on DCE side, verify jumpers, verify DTE operation using show
controller... That should lead you somewhere.
PS - you are sure that the interface on the AGS works, right?
