Hi all,
I'm experiencing some strange behaviour of a serial interface in a cisco
7206VXR. When the counterside is down, this interface should be down too,
but is flapping instead. I've checked the configs of both interfaces but
haven't found any irregularities. Keepalives are set, both interfaces are
using HDLC as encapsulation. The only point I'm not sure about is both
interfaces using IP unnumbered Loopback0, but we have other interfaces
running with this without problems (shouldn't be a problem in a serial
1-to-1-connection at all). There is a VPN-connection running over this
interface.
IOS-Version of this router is 12.0(13)S, the flapping interface is
channelized E1. Does anybody has any idea, what can cause such a behaviour?
Thx in advance,
Oliver Stock
