Hmm, correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the CSU/DSU signalize only line and clocking problems? When I debug the interface, I can see that keepalives are sent and received normaly. There is no restriction in communication between the interfaces, no errors. Only when I shut one interface the other is starting to flap. I always thought that keepalives should prevent interfaces from flapping because they should go down after not receiving a response for three times?
