Carl- as far as the memory, it depends what model of 3000 you have. You can
get away with running pre- Y2K 9.1(b) boot ROM's. I know the 11.0(10c) are
what is talked about most, but I have (5) 3000 routers in my lab running
both version of boot ROM's (with 12.0 IOS). The main difference is, I paid
something like $80 for each set of 11.0's (which is the same version as the
current 2500 series) & $10 for the 9.1(b) ROM's. The 9.1(b)'s fall under
the model # Boot-3000=
