xmodem is the only option I know of and it's meant to download an image to a
blank/corrupt/incorrect-imaged flash for "disaster recovery".  I don't think
there is a way to get the image off via the console port (short of
connecting it to another device and running ppp over it).

Do you have no working ethernet interfaces you can upload the image through?
tftp is tcp/ip based, of course, so you can't just send the image out the
console port without getting an IP address on it.

Here's the best you could hope to do, and it still requires an AUX port (not
CON):
