You are really asking for a "Network Prototyping Facility". This allows you
to test configurations before putting them into production. Thus business
uptime is maximized at great profit to the company. Now your boss wouldn't
want to be the reason for network downtime would he?
Isn't it true that there are always funds to fix things after they have been
broken beyond all reason - yet there is never money or time to do it right
the first time. True for equipment. True for training. What is the cost per
minute for downtime on your network? You may be worth a CCIEs salary in one
