The command syntex for motd is:
motd text (in this example I use Shift-6
or the ^)
So you can do something like:
motd ^
This is to show that you can have
more than one line in a motd
foo-bar
^
If you test this you can see that it will all show up. The show
running-config command will show:
...
motd ^C
This is to show that you can have
more than one line in a motd
foo-bar
^C
...
