This db15 connector is an AUI interface. You could check locally and maybe
find a spare transceiver having the mating AUI and either 10Base2 cable
connector(which I assume you don't want), an RJ-45 UTP connector, or BOTH
(this type might be laying around somewhere close to the old 2501 closet).
3Com, Xircom are two sources if you need to buy one--maybe even try
Ebay...search on Ethernet transceivers. To match the newer UTP
configurations for Cat 5 cabling plants, you'll want the AUI-to-RJ45 version.
