Oops, I read your question wrong earlier... as far as the most amount of 0.0.0.0 route, I have put 6 in for the 6 T1s that a customer was using for their internet service.
They wanted to get a T3 in but because of various reasons at the lec, they could not for quite sometime, so 6 T1s were put in to compensate for the lack of 1 T3 temporarily. The only thing that I could not figure out how to do was, where to put the maximum path statement. Normally, from my understanding, we put it under a routing protocol to make the default load bal of 4 paths to 6, but could not figure out how to do it on static routes since there were no router configuration mode for us to put this under... So we figured on static, it will default to the maximum of 6 and just put the 0.0.0.0 route from the internet gateway router.
