Since your ethernet port is down, tftp distater recovery is out. The xmodem option is fine, but I would recommend setting the console speed to 115200 or you will be there a while. If that isn't possible, you may as well get started. I have done this in the past and always used 'xmodem -y filename.' Then from Hyperterminal, do a
transfer send file protocol ymodem I think it will take a couple of hours at 9600.
