I just picked up a Paradyne 9120 Framsaver CSU and while researching the cable I need to connect to a router I came across a possible alternate cable I wasn't aware of.
The CSU came with a v.35 adapter (I was actually expecting a pigtail) but the adapter will work just fine, so I know that the CAB-V35MT "MALE DTE V35 10 FT" cable is the one I would normally use with the adapter. What I wasn't aware of is the CAB-530MT "MALE DTE RS-530 10 FT" cable which appears to allow me to connect directly to the CSU's 25 pin Port#1 or Port#2 connection and forego the v.35 adapter! Can anyone confirm my suspicions that the CAB-530MT will work for this application? The way I figure, the more pieces I can eliminate, the easier it becomes to troubleshoot if problems arise! -Stefan Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7&i=31427&t=31427 -------------------------------------------------- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
