If money was not an issue, which 48 port Cisco switch would you implement for general purpose (branch offices, access switch connecting to distribution layer, etc.)
The main differences of course are that the 2948 is set based and the 3548 is IOS based, and the switch fabric for the 2948 (24 Gbps vs 10 Gbps) is higher than for the 3548? Any thoughts on this?
