I just got a hold of 2 Cisco 2502s and when I boot them up, I can see everything in Hyperterminal, but I can never get to the prompt or get to the point where it says hit ENTER to continue. I don't think the routers are DOA because the two routers are acting the same way. I need to play around with the terminal settings in Hyperterminal or perhaps download that Terminal Program you guys were talking about. Other than that, I don't know how else to get into these routers if that doesn't work. Perhaps change the boot ROMs? Because they are pretty old. Any other ideas to get into these routers? P.S. I tried a control-break and I can get to the > prompt, but then I can't type anything from that point. Thanks.
