I am trying to configure my new PIX 501 with a static IP address for translation to inside email and web servers. When I use the one static address assigned by the ISP, I can no longer use the PAT for outbound access.
How can I configure the PIX to support inbound translation as well as outbound translation using one external static IP? Is there a method to assign a secondary address (static) on the external interface and then set the interface for DHCP as well? Your help is greatly appreciated.
