Good words, Kevin. I wish that was the way a number of contributors here were viewed -- contributors who certainly can add value to Cisco certifications, but aren't totally focused on test passing, but on a broader scope of networking. I hasten to add there's nothing whatsoever wrong with getting certified, but, as the backbone engineering thread shows, there are areas where people can learn useful things that will help them professionally but may not be part of an existing certification.
