I have tried that but first, there is nothing listening on port 8080,
but on port 80, with the cd drive set as my default home directory for
the default web site I was able to connect to the cd home page using
that url. If I click on any link then I got gibberish.

Thanks in advance

Michael

Hi,
I'm assuming you have installed all the components of the Installer CD
and
that you are using Netscape as the DocCD browser. Make sure the URL is
set
to http://127.0.0.1:8080/home/home.htm. Under Preferences in Netscape,
make
sure that your proxy is set to off.
Do not use IE (specially version 6 which alone will not support Java
applets
properly, unless you download the Java Runtime Environment - free - from
sun.com).
HTH,
Elmer
