Hi, I've been working with some guys at Qwest. They informed me that their hand offs are all L3. Aren't there situations where the hand off would be L2, but terminating on a L3 device?
For example: Qwest ----- L2 Networks ---- L3 router 1.1.1.1/30 1.1.1.2/30 This can be solved with PPP Bridge Encaps. I was wondering if anyone out there has used PPP Bridging Control Protocol (RFC 2878)? If so I would like to know how it is being used and on what type of equipement. Thank you in advance. -MACSL __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
