Hi all, In the practice labs at the end of the book of CCIE prac studies by Karl Solie, I see a very common mention like the one below ( mostly I have seen under RIP routing, sometimes it also comes in other Routing protocol sections as well )
" Make sure that no other routes are redistributed into the backbone." OR " Don not allow any routes from the lab network to be advertised onto Backbone 1" To be more specific - the lab is Darth Reid Section V under item # 4. What exactly could be the configuration under this situations. The only thing that I could think of is NOT to include "redistribute ospf 1 " under RIP process. Is that all it needs or am I missing something else?
