Finally, the functionality to create new mailing lists is (re-) installed!

I want to create and maintain a *whole bunch* of mailing lists--one
announcement (not discussion) list for each workgroup.  I think we could
greatly benefit from having "push" announcement lists for groups.  For
example, this will allow a Health Science editor to tell other Health
Science editors that an article is up for approval.  To take another
example, it will 

I also would like to create similarly-functioning lists for other, new
workgroups, such as workgroups devoted to images (or "assets" more
generally), copyediting, and some others.

So...

We could use a Mailing List Manager, someone who manages all these new
lists!  Or, perhaps a couple of such managers.  Tech savvy required,
experience with Mailman (the mailing list program) a strong plus.

Any takers?  I need your help!  I can't do it all myself, and I don't want
to!  You'd be making possible a really crucial new component of the CZ
system.

Also, I could get you set up pretty quickly, particularly if you've got
mailman experience.  We'd start by my giving you a password and a list of
listnames.
