All, Here's just a reminder that we'd like to add many good nominees to these pages:
http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Article_of_the_Week http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:New_Draft_of_the_Week If any article, new or older, really strikes your eye, why not nominate it? You can make one nomination on each list, and you can vote for as many nominees as you like (see the rules, which are also on those pages). And remember you can find these pages via the "about" link next to "Draft of the Week" and "New Draft of the Week" on the front page. Also, here's just a tiny statistical progress report: owing to your hard work recently, we've passed 3,600 "live" articles and are already well on our way to 3,700. That means we've had over 450 new articles since we passed 3,200 on Oct. 22, or 19 days ago. This is the highest rate of new article creation since last April following our public launch--when participation was temporarily inflated by vast amounts of press attention. By contrast, in the last 19 days we've been juiced not by a cheerleading press but almost exclusively by our own efforts alone: *our* recruitment drive, *our* stub week, *our own* hard work. And we were accelerating in the few months leading up to Oct. 22...by my calculations, our growth rate has increased by over 50% just within the last month (from 14/day to 24/day...but obviously, with Stub Week, the word count hasn't accelerated by as much). --Larry _______________________________________________ Citizendium-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.purdue.edu/mailman/listinfo/citizendium-l
