Hi, I have a perhaps very stupid question: But why do we have such insanely high monthly costs for hosting? Do we sponsor another project with free space?
If you look for example at http://www.arvixe.com/business_web_hosting, their business plans start at USD 22, which I think should be more than enough. (Ok, I ignored, that I don't know, what special requirements we have, but I doubt that it is necessary to pay over USD 300 for hosting.) Do we have our own dedicated server? Do we really need that (if we have)? I am willing to continue donating for hosting, but looking at this pricing here, my donation I gave this month would have been enough for two months of the cheaper version of the business plan from Arvixe. So, I'd really like to hear your thoughts and reasoning for those high hosting costs.
