Dear Mathew,

Here are some facts: I had sent the complaint in early May 2008 regarding
the road in Koramangala, vide my complaint no. 2320. I got a call from some
officer on 21 May 2008, followed by a letter signed by the Secretary, or on
his/her behalf by H K Savitri referring to my complaint. The letter was
dated 17 June 2008. In June 2008, the BBMP Chief Engineer called me up
referring to the same letter and assuring that the work was being taken up
immediately. Subsequently he came to my house with his Superintending
Engineer, Executiver Engineer and Asst Exec Engineer and explained how they
were going to take up the work (contractors and all). By October 2008 the
road was completed. You are welcome to come and see it yourself.
Transparency? Yes.

I looked up my files to dig out the infornation for you.

There are no feelings involved, just hard facts and the logic that if we do
not take a negative approach, we can get things done.
