contract in Jersey City with a fortune 500 company. The consultant must have
*Financial Services experience* b/c client is in the Financial Services
industry. …MUST HAVE Large terabyte database experience and multi
data-center replication…MUST HAVE SQL Server 2005 AND 2000 and SSIS

*Job Duties & Responsibilities: *
*Technical Experience*
· *Must have* at least *6-8 years* experience as a database
developer and
possess expert level technical skills in *SQL programming*, *stored
procedure*
* creation *and *optimization*, as well as *script writing*, *batch
processing*, and
* report generation*.
· *Must have* at least *6-8 years* experience working closely with
Database
Administrators in the *design, implementation, tuning* and *maintenance
*of
* highly available (HA)* and high volume databases.
· Experience with *multi terabyte databases* and *multi
data-center replication*
* is mandatory.*
· Experience with *clustered implementations is mandatory*.

*Required Skills: *
*Technical Skills*
· Microsoft *SQL Server 2005* and *SQL 2000 are mandatory*.
· Expert understanding of the *SQL programming language* and MS
SQLServer
* development and administrative tools* is mandatory.
· Expertise with design and development of *SSIS packages are
required*.
· Expertise is *Oracle databases* are *strongly desired*.
· Working knowledge of Informatica is a plus.
· Scripting language skills, such as PERL, is strongly desired.
*Business Experience*

· Experience supporting critical client facing products is
mandatory
· Understanding of *brokerage applications*, particularly the
Institutional
space is strongly preferred.
