Responsibilities: • The Storage Senior Specialist will be responsible for implementing storage infrastructure in Datacenter as point requirements or as part of large complex multi technology and service projects. • The candidate will be required to understand the overall customer solution requirements and implement the storage infrastructure. Work Experience: 4-6 years of relevant work experience in customer facing project and delivery roles in storage domain primarily in EMC & hp. Technical expertise: • Familiar in implementing various EMC Storage Devices (EMC Clariion, EMC Symmetrix, EMC Celerra) & hp EVA • Familiar with SAN devices like Brocade Directors, CISCO MDS switches etc. • Familiar in implementing & configuring SAN network with zoning, trunking & VSAN. • Familiar in installing and configuring HBAs and multipathing softwares. • Familiar in implementing EMC Replication Technology ( Mirror View, San Copy ), Recover Point and EMC Powerpath • Familiar in creating & allocating LUN with RAID setup. • Familiar in implementing snapshots, snap mirror, snap clone etc. • Familiar in storage management tools. • Familiar in implementing various backup softwares like EMC Networker, EMC Avamar & Netbackup • Familiar in implementing Tape library & VTL (Data Domain, EDL). • Familiar in creating backup policies. • Familiar in DR planning and implementation. • Familiar in driving DR drills. • Familiar in handling global clients both from onsite and offshore. Desired Certification: Any relevant certifications in the field of Storage (E.g.
