Wintel Consultant Duration of the Project: Till 31 Dec 2012 Location / work address: Secaucus, New Jersey Start date: ASAP Responsibilities:
• Design and build the Wintel solution components, in close cooperation with various internal and customer teams. • Develop and communicate architecture strategies, guidelines and standards related to the domain. • Provide smooth and clear handover and guidance to operations team to takeover any Wintel infrastructure after build completion. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experience/Skills: • 4-6 years of relevant experience in System Integration. Candidate should have worked on large complex system integration projects & teams. Should have detailed knowledge of all areas of Windows domain including Windows O/S, Active Directory, Exchange, Clustering, DNS – DHCP. • Experience in Virtualizations on Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix and VMWare. • Must have knowledge on TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP and SSL • Use automated scripts install of Windows/Linux on multiple OEM servers and Technologies (HP, DELL, IBM and Sun) including blade servers. • Should have worked on projects with extensive new server build, Windows migration, virtualization and deploying applications in such environments. • Strong understanding of server platforms in a corporate infrastructure. • Additional Knowledge & Skills: • Basic working knowledge of storage technologies (SAN and NAS), networking, security and applications, particularly Wintel based enterprise applications including database • Security features of Wintel including Access Control, Active Directory, Firewall, Intrusion Detection. • Exposure in configuring, troubleshooting and providing escalation support for Linux and Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy and business applications like MS Exchange, Antivirus Solutions, DHCP, DNS etc. will be an added advantage. • Experience in handling Global customers will be an added advantage. • Excellent oral and written communication skills EDUCATION/TRAINING: • • BE/MCA or equivalent in Electronics /Computer Science Possess Certification on Windows, typically in more than one area -- Thanks Kevin 732-645-2039 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
