-IMMEDIATE NEED A CONSULTANT- Sr. Web Developer (10+ years technical background) Charlotte, NC 12 + Months Contract Job Description: Acts as the highest-level technical expert on the development and implementation of highly complex, large-scale internet and intranet applications on diverse platforms, crossing multiple business lines. Uses expert knowledge of web technologies, including C++, Java, Java Script, HTML, CGI, XML, Perl, ASP, multimedia applications, database modeling tools and/or database interactions. Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution. Provides leadership in researching and tracking new web technologies, developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems. Oversees system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Strong design, development and implementation experience in high volume payment transaction processing with strict Service Level Agreements (SLA) using Java and Oracle technologies along with enterprise software like WebSphere MQ, Autosys, NDM. Familiarity with J2EE and Oracle PL/SQL standards and development best practices, third-party software integration and technology relationship management, along with designing with performance tuning and scalability in mind, are essential in this position. As a senior batch and database application developer, responsible for on-time and high-quality design and implementation of project deliverables As a technical project lead, leads team of developers in geographically diversed locations through all phases of SDLC. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert in the development and implementation of batch and database applications for highly complex, large-scale internet and intranet applications on diverse platforms, crossing multiple business lines. Uses Bill Payment or money movement domain expertise combined with the latest Java and Oracle software versions. Keeps abreast with web and payment trends for the continued improvement and currency of the Bill Payment software. Works with internal and external partner systems to keep all batches are performing with SLAs in a given 7x24x365 batch calendar. Works with the ISO office to ensure the batch and database design and implementations are in accordance with the security policies within project timelines. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Provides leadership in researching and tracking new web, batch and service oriented technologies, developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to high volume payment based systems.
