Description: Location : Clarksburg , MD Duration: 6 months. Rate : open Essential Duties and Responsibilities: We expect the writer to work independently to gather information directly from software developers, and write complete manuals from scratch for online and print publication and to review all internal and external documentation for improved communication between internal teams and the client. The writer should be prepared to gain in-depth product knowledge through hands-on experience, and handle working on multiple products simultaneously. In addition to typical documentation tasks, the Staff Technical Writer will be asked to do the following: Install and use the product to better understand the technical issues that need to be documented. Review online developer forums for answers to common questions and user-generated content to include in the documentation Work closely with the development team, PM team, and attend regular project meetings.
