We expect the person to be informed about Windows, how Windows works, and how to monitor Windows performance. We also expect that the candidates have some scripting or programming experience that is not vbscript. This means that they can sit down and create a script on demand for us. This isn't because the job is automation focused, but because everyone here has that ability - we do not understand how someone could be a Windows engineer in 2012 without this basic skill. *JOB DESCRIPTION:* This is a Windows engineering role within a highly distributed global enterprise organization. The position is extremely technical and hands-on with an equal focus on both Windows desktop and server. The ideal candidate will have a very strong technical foundation that is supported by excellent writing and speaking skills.
