o TSO = (Time Sharing Option) interactive time-sharing environment for IBM
mainframe operating systems
o DB2 = IBM database software
o IBM Mainframe
- BMC software experience
o BMC ARC = Implement DB2 application checkpoints with no code changes
§ Basically, instead of starting an entire batch job from the start, this
software enables you to resume failed or interrupted batch applications
from the most recent checkpoint rather than from the beginning of the job
step.
