Position-SQL DBA
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 12+ months
Job description-
Creates, Administers, and maintains SQL Server instances/databases/
schemas either in cluster or VM configuration. Works with modeling and
app/dev teams or software vendors in database design and performance
monitoring/tuning. Trouble-shoots issues when they arise.
> Solid experience creating DB's from scratch following established
standards and using best practices.
> Experience maintaining existing DB's including creating new objects,
changing objects, moving DB's, dealing with DB expansions, backups &
restores, etc.
Requirements:
>Since the database environment is ED or PCI, the candidate will need to go
through security clearance for Departments of ED and Treasury. .
>At least 3-years of SQL Server DBA experience
>Good skill in SQL Server trouble-shooting
>Good communication skills
>USA Citizenship is required
