Only a 2 part interview (1 phone and 1 face-to-face) and must be able to interview onsite. *Title: *Data Quality Analyst *$50/hr* *Term of Assignment: *Approx. 6 months *Nature of Work or Business Need: * The team is driving efforts to report on data quality regarding data. This will require a concentrated effort from a resource specializing in data analysis and quality. This position will need a mix of experience in data analysis, data quality and SQL skills, along with exposure to Master Data Management. *Top 3 skills required:* SQL Teradata Data Quality *Location*: Dayton, OH Office *Job Summary: * The Data Quality Analyst will perform analysis of all data. They will identify and quantify data issues within the organization and assist in the development plans to resolve these issues. The senior data analyst will be responsible for data mapping and ETL activities as needed. In addition, they will support routine data management processes and ad hoc user requests as well as perform testing activities as needed. *Essential Functions:* - Perform analysis of all data into, support of Data Warehousing efforts. - Identify and quantify data issues within the organization and assist in the development plans to resolve data issues. - Guide, mentor, and instruct more junior staff members as they perform analysis. - Support regular data management processes and ad hoc user requests. - Monitor the quality of data submitted to regulatory agencies. - Supports the verification of data accuracy within DSI Analytic Systems and source systems - Supports the maintenance of the Analytic Systems data dictionaries - Develop, document and perform testing and validation as needed. - Assist in ETL development, documentation and testing as needed. - Work with SMEs to develop business rules that support the transformation of data - Facilitate discussions between end users and data modelers as needed *Minimum Qualifications:* *Education:* - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience *Experience:* - 5+ years’ experience in data analysis or equivalent analytic experience - MUST have Teradata experience - Experience in data mapping required - Experience in ETL preferred - Healthcare experience preferred *Technical Skills: * - Proven understanding of database relationships - Proven programming skills with emphasis on mining/manipulation - Advanced MS Excel and/or Access - Teradata experience required - SAS experience preferred - SQL experience preferred *Knowledge & Skills* - Communication skills both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and within a team environment - Critical listening and thinking skills - Decision making/problem solving skills - Excellent customer service skills *Regards,* *Monajir Khan* *Techwire Solutions, Inc* Suite #700,1999 S.
