*Embedded C++ Programmer* *Location:* Greater Los Angeles Area, CA *Duration:* Contract (18 Months) We are searching for a rock-star embedded C++ programmer with a proven history of Linux system development experience and low-level driver interaction. This position entails maintenance and new feature development of a mid-level component. The successful candidate for this position must be self-driven to meet aggressive product-schedules, a quick study to learn the component, our client's proprietary protocol, and their development systems, must interact frequently with internal and external development and testing teams, and perform repeated functional, performance and stability testing. *Required:* - BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering - At least 5 years of recent C++ system development experience - Embedded Linux and multithreading knowledge - Good OO design, analysis, debugging and troubleshooting skills - Detail-oriented attitude for end-user product development - Good communication skills with professional social skills in an open collaborative environment - Competence with JIRA and Office productivity tools - Self-motivation to work independently, while collaborating with teams and partners *Desired:* - DBS - XML - C++11 - Boost This position offers occasional development of new features, as well as occasional troubleshooting of challenging problems.
