Role: Front-end Developer *Location: *NYC *Duration:* 5+ Week Contract *Start Date: *ASAP *Responsibilities:* Experience translating comps and wireframes in to semantically correct web templates Excellent knowledge of cross platform browsers (IE 8-10, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, Android, iOS) Detailed knowledge and experience working with client side JS libraries such as JQuery, Mootools, Angular, Require, etc. Basic understanding of core JavaScript language. Understanding of JS best practices, design patterns and optimizations. Understanding of modern HTML/CSS practices as well as experience with browser shimming and creative gracefully derogated experiences. Experience with GIT/SVN and Vagrant. Knowledge of Social platform integration Detailed knowledge of both Mobile and Desktop web design (RWD, Fluid Layout, Fixed Layouts, etc.) Solutions Oriented and loves solving complex design challenges. Develop of both production level code and rapid prototypes of tools and experiences. *Requirements: * 3+ years of front end development, 2 of which are in an agency setting. Basic Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including object oriented design, service oriented design, computational complexity analysis, algorithmic design and data structures Experience with HTML/HTML5, CSS2/CSS3, JS. Experience with GIT/SVN and Vagrant a plus.
