*Title: **Business Analyst* *Location: **Eden Prairie, MN* *Contract: **6 months* *1 Clinical Healthcare* – we need people with strong clinical healthcare experience 2 Big Data –clinical healthcare knowledge must come first. If someone has Big Data experience, but it’s not in clinical healthcare, it really isn’t going to benefit us. * Communication Skills – both strong written and oral skills for requirements and conducting meetings (as opposed to heavy Data and Quality Analyst experience) * User Stories/Requirements Documentation - If you’ve worked in Agile as a BA you should know how to write User Stories. * Agile * Rally – potentially a 2, since there are Rally tutorials available, but depending on the project and your SM, people do not have the luxury of time learning Rally * Data Warehousing – if someone understands clinical healthcare data, data warehousing should make sense to them even without experience. * SQL 3 Data Analysis * Data Quality/Data Profiling - if someone has strong healthcare knowledge, even if the project isn’t specifically looking for DQ or DP, a person should be able to see discrepancies and needs for improvement in the data, but without the strong healthcare skills this wouldn’t exist for them è Additional Characteristics: Well rounded candidates that meet minimum thresholds above. Someone that is a very strong BA needs to have some technical background and have worked with data, while a very strong DA needs to have some good soft-skills and understand processes and be able to communicate clearly and effectively. If someone doesn’t have Big Data or Data Warehousing experience, but understands Clinical Healthcare data really well, the expectation is that they would be able to understand the warehousing aspect fairly well. The tool of choice is Rally. Having worked in Rally before is necessary in understanding the basics and to decrease any learning curve and time needed by the team to train.
