1) Performance Testing
Location: NY
Duration: 6 months
*Job Description:*
*Responsibilities:*
1. Work closely with the QA, Project and Business teams to
orchestrate, conduct and participate in line of performance testing and
analysis to ensure performance, stability and scalability of HF
applications.
· End to End Performance testing experience such as gathering
performance test requirements, Performance Test Strategy creation/review,
Test Scenarios identification, Performance Test Results preparation and
demo to the stakeholders.
· Expert in designing test strategies for Performance Testing,
Load/Volume Testing and Stress Testing
· Report on the possibilities of performance failures and make
recommendations for next steps.
· Measure, monitor and capture required infrastructure &
application performance metrics, logs and reports
· Measure results against business and technical requirements.
· Develop and validate test scripts against business SLA
requirements and scripting best practices.
· Designs, develops and executes diverse software performance tests
based on application requirements and application SLAs in HF Network and on
the Cloud.
· Maintains Performance Test Tools (HP Performance Center, Load
Generator, and Controller, Jmeter) and processes which includes license
management, environments and sizing in support of growth.
· Strong experience with Load Runner/HP Performance Center required
script creation using VuGen for Web (HTTP/HTML), Database and Web services
protocols (as applicable) to emulate the application. All scripts are to be
appropriately correlated, parameterized, with any check points, think time
need to be added, etc.
· Experience with Jmeter scripting.
*Required Skills:*
1. Experience with diagnostics and monitoring tools like Dynatrace,
HP diagnostics, etc. to measure, detect, isolate and resolve performance
issues found during application performance testing.
2. Build custom code with the C programming language to make scripts
robust and dynamic.
3. Prioritize and manage multiple initiatives supporting multiple
domains.
4. Ability to work/communicate effectively both in a team environment
and independently.
5. React accordingly to various challenges before, during and after
application performance testing engagements.
6. 6 -9 years Performance testing space is a must.
