My first ever post in here.
I wanted to know if this package works in wired and wireless both.Till the date i am using "Chillispot" another opensource package for wireless aunthentication and accounting.But My- sql and radius server needed in the
backend.It uses a capative portal.So if a wireless user try's to browse the internet , he is automatically taken to a webpage for authentication first.That is how chillispot works.Is it the same theory on this package as well?Does it work on both wired and wireless lan automatically?Is there any need of another supportive package as well?
OR IS IT THAT THE WHOLE CONCEPT IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM CHILLISPOT.?If yes kindly tell me it's internal mechanics.
