Guy Smith had asked about sources for easier (renaissance) cittern music.
There is some sheet music from the Lute Society's past newsletters (does
anybody
have the exact reference?) and there is also this book which I highly
recommend:

"With My Strings of Small Wire": A Tutor for the Cittern, by Roxana
Gundry-Brooks.

Roundelay Publications, Napton on the Hill, Rugby, Warwickshire, UK
tel: (0926)817397
ISBN 0-9516730-0-9

72 pages of excellent practical instruction, examples, and advice and lots of
photos. spiral bound.

Also: the cittern book of Playford.
