I don't have an instrument as such but I do have scans of the 1899 Zimmermann catalogue I mentioned. If you want me to, I'll send you a copy of the page offlist and also another page from the same catalogue with an overview of the tunings of different instrument, including the Portuguese guitar. The tuning given is the CEGceg of the English guittar - unison double courses all the way. The instrument pictured in the catalogue appears to be identical to the Andrade except that it doesn't have the ornamentation on the top. The catalogue describes two more elaborate models as well, the most expensive one seems to fit your instrument perfectly.
